Dr. Daniel McKinney
Dr. Daniel McKinney is a second-generation dentist, born and raised on Madison’s north side. After graduating from Madison East High School, he stayed in the area to complete his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and then went on to attend Marquette University’s dental school, graduating in 1997. His father, Dr. Clayton McKinney, started McKinney Dental in 1961 and transitioned the business to his son in 2000.
Dr. McKinney resides on Madison’s north side with his wife and two kids. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, water recreation, and traveling to northern Wisconsin in the summer with his family.
Passion
Passion is part of our Administrative Team, and we have been working in the dental field for over 17 years. She enjoys attending continuing education courses to keep up with the latest trends in Dentistry to give our patients a wonderful experience. She attended and received her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from Herzing University. Outside of the office, Passion is either crafting or traveling with her husband and two daughters. One quote she often refers to is, “Maybe I made a mistake yesterday, but yesterday’s me is still me” -Kim Namjoon of BTS.
Teresa
Teresa graduated from Madison Area Technical College with Dental Assisting Diploma. She belongs to the Wisconsin Dental Association. She has been with McKinney Dental since 1990 in several roles, including Chair-Side Assistant and Front Office.
Teresa is married and has two adult children and two granddaughters.
Peggy
Peggy has worked in administration part-time at McKinney Dental since January 2017. She has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from UW-Madison and worked in Marketing Research for over 11 years. She is the wife of Dr. Dan and has two adult children. An interesting thing about Peggy is that she has an identical twin sister.
Michelle
Michelle graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Madison College in 2011. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and strives to provide a positive experience at each visit. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling and attending sporting events.
Patty
Patty has been a dental hygienist for over 25 years. She is dedicated, and compassionate, and especially enjoys helping patients achieve good overall oral health. She is also Dr. Dan’s sister and is excited to be part of the dental business that her father started many years ago.
Outside of work, she enjoys gardening and going up north to her family’s lake home to boat, swim, and enjoy a different pace of life.
Georgia
Georgia has been a dental assistant for 3 years. She joined the team at McKinney Dental in July 2022. In her free time, she enjoys showing dogs and spending time with family.
Chantal
Chanti joined McKinney Dental in 2003 after receiving her Dental Assisting Diploma from Madison College. Chanti keeps herself very busy with working here at the office, and at her parents, family-run restaurant in Deforest. When she is not in the office or at the restaurant, you can find her planning fun vacations with her family and friends. One unique fact about Chantal is she was born in the USA and raised in Mexico.
